How to build a folding sawhorses (pair)

Steps

  1. Cut eight 700 mm legs and four 800 mm top rails.
  2. Build two A-frame halves per horse.
  3. Hinge the halves at the top.
  4. Tie rope between the legs so they cannot splay.
Tip: Two sawhorses and a ply sheet make a free-standing workbench anywhere.

  • 4 × butt hinges
  • 2 × lengths of rope or chain
