How to build a pegboard tool wall

Steps

  1. Fix battens to the wall so the board stands 20 mm off it.
  2. Screw the pegboard to the battens.
  3. Lay tools out on the floor first, then hang them.
  4. Draw round each tool so you know what is missing.
Tip: Without the 20 mm gap behind the board the hooks cannot seat.

  • 1 × pegboard sheet 1220×610 mm (or 2)
  • 3 × 25×38 mm battens
  • Wall fixings
  • Pegboard hook set
