How to build a ledged and braced garden gate

Steps
- Lay boards face down and clamp.
- Screw on top, middle and bottom ledges.
- Fit Z-braces, with the low end at the hinge side.
- Hang with T-hinges and fit the latch.
Tip: The brace must run up from the bottom hinge towards the latch side, or the gate will sag.

- 9 × 100×22 mm treated tongue-and-groove boards, 1.8 m
- 3 × 100×44 mm ledges, 900 mm
- 2 × braces
- 2 × T-hinges, a latch, and exterior screws
